Our proposal is to make use of the lightness - air and membrane - as the main material to construct different mid-disaster structures. The light-weighted structures are developed in a shape that would collect rainwater and to be preserved for later use. The structure also make use of the property of air and utilize it as a mean of the shelter’s support as well as a mean of thermo insulation. This adaptable and flexible system will be able to accommodate for various environmental conditions, allowing its displacement at city ruins, mountain valleys as well as on top of bodies of water. The different sizes of the modules also allows for various assemblies to create spaces with multiple programs offering different options for its usage, such as temporary shelters, housings, classrooms, hospitals and communities. We don’t design the forms. We just design the air, and leave space to be created by people and nature.
