A tree of width 4.8m and height 36m was drawn after considering the size of the birch forest and Chinese Silver Grass community newly created on top of the 300m long land by the riverside of Namhangang. Considering that river water can overflow 2,3m above ground surface during floods, the main floors were constructed above and work room or storage were placed below. A small room in front of the house was constructed not only because of the expectation for adequate tension that will be created between the house and the room but also due to the outdoor scenery that can be seen from the house. The birch forest newly planted at my request in order to shield the background of shoddy commercial buildings across the river, harmonizes with the silver shade of the horizontal roof that is finished with Titanium. The entire scene of this house with a silver horizontal roof can only be seen from across the river. The reason is because it is not a house to be seen but to see the scenery from.
