传统条凳历史长久，使用范围极广，从公用如教室食堂，多人同时使用；到私用如院中坐具，家中随处可见。但至今日，这种家具类型却因木材偏贵的价格和过于复杂的加工，以及使用习惯等原因，在我们的生活中越来越少。

众产品对传统条凳进行了优化设计：重新设计了凳面与凳腿的金属连接件，这样不仅简化了木材的制作工艺，让条凳更便于工业化生产，还能以较高的连接强度来减少木材的用量，节约成本；同时这个节点将凳腿移至凳面外侧，使条凳能够上下紧密叠落，相比传统条凳，同等高度内叠落数量大大提高，节省空间，也便于储藏与运输。金属连接件还可着不同颜色，以满足不同用户的个性化需求。

The traditional Chinese wood bench is a classic. Amongst its many uses it’s commonly associated with people’s elementary school experience where students must partner up with a stranger to share a bench. Growing up in China, this is one way kids are introduced to social interaction.

The bench is a fundamentally social object. To update the classic wood bench we made the bench stackable by moving the legs to the outside. Using a metal connection detail we’ve made it so that the bench can be easilly standardized and mass produced. Themetal joint is offered in different colors.
